Account
Account is where you can make changes to important account settings, such as editing personal details, selecting or changing your payment method, and more. Below is a list of actions you can take from this tile:
- Edit your name associated with your account
- Edit/change the email associated with your account
- Change your account password
- Add/edit your mobile number
- Add/change your payment method
- View your priority hour history
Login methods
Login method allows you to update your password, as well as connect your Cambly account to other accounts, such as Facebook, Google, and Apple to login.
Settings
Settings is where you provide or edit your:
- Language
- Location
- Timezone
- Residence
This is where you will go if you are traveling and need to update your account's timezone and location. Additionally, if you ever change your residence, you can update it from here. Find more information about changing timezones in this article.
Notifications
Notifications is where you can go to choose when you want to be contacted. From here, you can update what notifications you'd like to receive, such as schedule updates, reminders, announcements, and more. Simply check the box of the notifications you would like to receive and click 'Save'. You also have the option to unsubscribe from all notifications (with the exception of account updates).
Pay history
Pay history takes you to your to your pay history page, which offers a breakdown of your earnings to ease the process of tracking your Cambly payments.
Tax documentation
Tax documentation is for tutors who need to submit information for tax purposes, such as the DAC7 form. You can learn more about filing taxes and reporting income in this article.
Calendar sync preferences
From Calendar sync preferences, you can sync your Cambly calendar to your Google calendar. Additionally, you can export your Cambly calendar to your Yahoo, Outlook or iCal calendars from this tile. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to sync your calendar in this article.
Message templates
Message templates is where you set up pre-written messages to send to your students with just one click. You can create as many templates as you’d like, and have the ability to choose from any of your templates directly from your message box.
How it works:
1. Go to your message templates page
2. Create your template by titling it and writing your desired message, then click ‘Save new template’. Once that template is created, you can make changes to it at any time.
3. From the message box with your student, click the plus icon to select one of your message templates. Your templates will appear in the order you created them (newest at the top).
4. Upon clicking the desired template, your pre-written message will auto-populate the message box. You can make any direct changes to your message before sending it.
To archive any templates you aren’t actively using, go to your message template page and click ‘Archive’. You can access your archived templates from the Archived tab at any time to make them active again.

Will my template auto-populate my student's name?
Currently, the template will not auto-populate your student's name. You are able to edit or personalize any template once you've inserted it into your message.
How many templates can I create at a time?
You can create as many templates as you'd like and archive any templates that you aren't actively using.
